Dr. Raj M. Rawal
Participation in leading dental conferences helps Dr. Rawal keep his technical and management skills up to date. He is a member the American College of Prosthodontists, a Master in American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, and an Associate Fellow in the International Congress Oral Implantologists. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Brevard County Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He and the members of his staff are also actively involved with local and international charities. Dr. Rawal strives for perfection and enjoys doing full mouth reconstruction cases. He loves to build great smiles for his patients. Working in collaboration with various dental specialists, laboratories and his competent team of associates, he creates optimum solutions for his patients' oral health. He loves cooking and entertaining family and friends with his wife Gauri, who supports him in managing the office. He has two sons Amit Rawal M.D. and Sundeep Rawal D.M.D. In his younger days, Dr. Rawal played sports and was an active participant on the National Hockey Team in the UK. This gave him a great opportunity to widen his perspective as he traveled all over the world. Heather | Hygienist
Heather likes to build relationships with her patients while preserving them to preserve their oral hygiene with comprehensive solutions offered in an ongoing, timely fashion. She likes to educate her patients with oral care solutions at home to support their investment in their oral health. She enjoys the interaction with patients, while networking with the community. Heather is thrilled to be part of the winning team at Dr. Rawal's office, since they share the same enthusiasm in serving patients. A resident of Florida since she was five, Heather now lives on Merritt Island with her four-year-old daughter Morgan, her pride and joy. Morgan's extra-curricular activities, playing soccer and gymnastics, keep Heather busy. Marsha | Concierge
With the other staff members, Marsha strives to make sure there is minimum waiting time for patients and to offer seamless support in any way necessary to make patients feel comfortable with their dental treatment experience. It gives her a great sense of satisfaction to see a smile on a patient's face; she's been able to build good relationships with most. Marsha lives in Canaveral Groves with her husband Duane and daughter Samantha. Her older son James and daughter Kristy are married, and she has six beautiful grandchildren she enjoys spoiling. Over the years, Barbara has learned a lot about dental procedures and patient relationships. She especially values the "priceless" relationships she's developed with patients over 20 years. She completely understands and supports Dr. Rawal's sense of perfection and enthusiasm in serving patients with the optimum solutions that suit their specific need at a given point of time. Barbara lives with her husband Paul and two sons Matthew and Ryan. She is an active member of Divine Mercy Church and enjoys watching football and basketball with her family. During her years with Dr. Rawal, Cathy has grown as a caregiver and has learned to give service with great understanding and empathy for patients. She enjoys assisting Dr. Rawal in extensive reconstructive cases and in creating beautiful smiles. It is a joy for her to see the end result after the treatment is over. She is always available to patients who need clarifications about their treatments. She helps to address patient apprehensions so that they can make the right choices for their oral care. Cathy moved to Florida from Kentucky in 1985. She lives in Port Saint John with husband Tommy and two boys Boo (Thomas) and Brandon. She loves to keep making home improvements and enjoys decorating her home and gardening. She loves to keep fit and exercise regularly as it gives her an energy boost to keep up with her busy life. |
Dr. Rawal received his dental degree at University of New Castle on-Tyne
in 1976. After 3 years of private practice in England, he moved to
Chicago for postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics at the University
of Illinois. Dr. Rawal started his career in Florida in 1983, and opened
his own practice on Merritt Island in 1986.
Heather is a registered dental hygienist with hands on hygiene
experience. She graduated from the Brevard Community College dental
program with honors. At school, she was actively participated in
the decision-making bodies of the school and the state by serving
as president of the student body and president of her class. She
is currently President of all Brevard County Dental Hygiene
Association.
Marsha started working with Dr. Rawal in October 1997, starting
as a Dental Assistant but transferring to a Concierge position
within three years. The main focus of her job is to serve patients
through direct interaction and scheduling. She has built a comprehensive
understanding of dental procedures and Dr. Rawal's standards so
she can schedule patients effectively.
Barbara has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the dental
industry. After starting her career as a Certified Dental Assistant
in Ohio for 9 years, she moved to Merritt Island in 1981. She joined
Dr Rawal in 1983.
After interning with Dr. Rawal for six weeks through the Brevard Community
College Dental Program, Cathy joined his team seven years ago on a
full time basis. She loves to work as a part of the team, providing
excellent service to patients.
